Welcome to the Freightliner Chassis Owners Club

The Freightliner Chassis Owners Club (FCOC), a chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), was founded in 1994.

The purpose of our chapter is to promote social, recreational, and informational exchange activities. We hold two chapter meetings each year, one at each of our National rallies. FCOC National rallies are generally held after the FMCA national meetings. Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) supports our club and brings a motorhome chassis to rallies for technical reviews and discussions.

You will get two 3-day passes for the San Diego Trolley so you can get downtown, to Old Town, and Mission Valley.

FCOC will hold a Spring Rally in sunny San Diego from March 29-April 2, 2015. Three days and four nights parked at the QualComm Stadium will give you a chance to attend seminars and take in tours. You will get a 3-day pass for two on the San Diego Trolley to take you downtown, Old Town, and Mission Valley. Learn more about your Freightliner chassis at the Freightliner "Knowing Your Chassis" presentation. And check out new motorhomes from dealers La Mesa RV and Holland RV. Fees will be under $300 per coach. The FCOC Rally will follow the FMCA Convention in Pomona CA.

The FCOC Nominating Committee has prepared their report listing candidates for offices that are due for election this year. The Offices and Nominees are:

  • National Director, Roy Hopper
  • Vice President Operations - East, Roy Hopper
  • Vice President Business Development, Tom James

Voting will occur at the Business Meeting held during the FMCA 90th Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase August 13-16, 2014.

New Bylaws and Standing Rules adopted    (Click for full story)

Many changes, mostly of a housekeeping nature, were made to the FCOC Bylaws and Standing Rules in the version adopted by vote of the membership at the Rally at Bald Mountain GA on March 23, 2014. Both documents had been in draft and available for members to review since mid-December 2013, and the need for changes was recognized and a committee was formed at the Business Meeting in Gillette WY on June 18, 2013.
